Matt Miller, President and CEO of the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP), today unveiled the lineup for the 2010 Next Awards, a featured presentation of the AICP Show. The program will be held the morning of June 8th at The Museum of Modern Art in New York City, with Kevin Roddy, the Next Awards Judging Chair and Chief Creative Officer of BBH New York serving as Master of Ceremonies. During the event, which marks the debut of the AICP Digital Discussion Series, winners of the Integrated Campaign category will present case studies outlining the creative execution and strategy behind each piece. Additionally, winners in the Viral/Web Film, Website/Microsite, Product Integration, and Experiential categories will be revealed, and a series of short films (directed by Sorrel Ahlfeld) showcasing the Next Judges thinking will be unveiled. The audience will also have a chance to pick their favorites, voting for Audience Choice Awards in each category. During the AICP Show premiere later that evening, all winners of the Next Awards will be showcased in an installation at the Show reception.
“The Next Awards are so much more than a competition,” related Miller. “The event showcases the thought leadership of some of our industry’s best and brightest, and the evening will offer an opportunity for all Show attendees to experience the Next winners in an environment that highlights their cutting edge creativity.”
