AT&T has launched its first dedicated ad campaign for DIRECTV NOW, the over-the-top streaming service offering customers live TV, premium programming options and access to more than 20,000 On Demand titles.
The digital-only campaign from BBDO NY stars actor Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther, Creed, Friday Night Lights) as he is seen shredding contracts, burning hardware and watching live TV from any screen, anywhere, anytime.
In this spot titled “Free,” Jordan demonstrates how DIRECTV NOW is free of contracts, commitment, cable box hardware, even a couch, four walls and pants.
Wayne McClammy of Hungry Man directed the comedy spots in this campaign which represents the next chapter of the “Terms and Conditions” campaign that was introduced earlier this year featuring actor Mark Wahlberg (Transformers, Deepwater Horizon, Ted, Shooter).
