As people avoid flights and international travel, the road trip is having a moment–and so are the National Parks. Tons of space, plenty of fresh air, and accessible by car; these are the requirements everyone’s looking for in the age of COVID-19 travel.
The National Park Foundation and agency VMLY&R are launching a new campaign, “Wonder Calls,” to remind people that the National Parks are a beautiful place to explore nature and history (while social distancing). For more than a century, the 400 national parks have given shape to our multi-faceted and multicultural story. This campaign shows the beauty and wonder of the parks, and seeks to drive donations as the parks become more and more important for people looking to escape and recharge. The work is launching over digital and social, with additional phases of the campaign launching down the line.
This campaign spot, “When It Calls, How Will You Answer?,” showcases the amazing sights and sounds of national parks. It was edited by Steve Bell of Cutters Studios.
