    Top Spot of the Week: CoorDown’s “The Special Proposal”

    CoorDown (Coordinator of the National Associations of People with Down Syndrome) and Saatchi & Saatchi Italy collaborated on this heart-warming international short which introduces us to Salvatore and Caterina, both living independent lives with Down Syndrome. They want to live together and Salvatore has decided to ask Caterina in a special way to move in with him. Hidden cameras capture Caterina’s response.

    Edoardo Lugari directed the piece via production house Filmmaster. The short takes on added significance with the 10th World Down Syndrome Day taking place on Saturday, March 21.

    Titled “The Special Proposal,” the short reunited CoorDown and Saatchi after three successful projects that brought the agency 17 Lions at the last three Cannes International Festivals of Creativity.

    The work was produced with the help of Down Syndrome Australia and Down Madrid, and the participation of Down Syndrome Development Trust (UK), Movimento Down (Brazil), Savings Down (New Zealand), National Down Syndrome Society (US) and Japan Down Syndrome Society.
