We’re taken to a home in Mumbai where a family celebrates a young man’s college graduation. Asked to make a speech, the grad thanks his mom for being his “rock” and then begins to speak of his father, seen only in family photos.
It turns out the dad refused expensive cancer treatment to pay for his son’s education and thus ensure his future. The father died from cancer.
The grad said he’d trade his education to be with his dad again. A super then appears which reads, “If you choose to help, cancer patients won’t face a tough choice.
An end tag then provides info on HDFC Mutual Funds which is raising money for the Cancer Cure 2014 campaign.
Manoj Tapadia of Offroad Films, Mumbai, directed the piece.
