This spot–“How It All Began With Miles Mouvay”–introduces us to movie super fan Mouvay, portrayed by comedian Kenan Thompson from Saturday Night Live, and kicks off a campaign created and produced by Stun Creative for client Fandango.
Mouvay tells us his mom gave birth to him in a movie theater and brought him home in an extra large popcorn bucket. His cinematic origin explains his love of movies and in turn, his love of Fandango.
Mouvay’s story will play out over a series of eight 30-second commercials, eighteen digital videos, online advertising, print ads, in-theater commercials, profiles on Twitter (@fandangomiles), Instagram (fandangomiles) and YouTube, and outdoor billboards throughout New York City and Los Angeles. The first TV commercials debut this week in key markets and in theaters with a full national broadcast and cable roll out next week, featuring spots on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with Steven Colbert, The Late Late Show with James Corden and The Voice, among other shows.
