Billed as the first crowd-sourced bar, built by fans of Jack Daniel’s to celebrate his 164th birthday and their love of whiskey, this fun place came to fruition in Sydney, Australia, born out of an initiative led by Sydney ad agency Arnold Furnace.
The bar was built in six weeks and came together via a social media call to action and old-school word of mouth, orchestrated by a creative/strategic ensemble at Arnold Furnace. Fans attending the celebration at the completed “Bar That Jack Built” donated time, materials or ideas in exchange for event tickets and a bottle of Jack. Carpenters, welders, electricians, chefs, printers, artists, musicians, laborers and videographers worked and celebrated together under one roof
This short–titled "The Bar That Jack Built-The Celebration"–was directed by Dylan Harrison of Film Graphics.
