Domestic accidents that require first aid to save a life sometimes seem far away. People think that death can only happen in serious and big accidents and that only doctors or specialists have the power to do something about it. Correcting this misnomer is this PSA for Red Cross Argentina from agency Dhelet Y&R
Every year Red Cross puts this subject on their social agenda to create awareness about the importance of knowing first aid by showing relatable and everyday situations that show how one can help without being a doctor or a specialist. In this slice of life PSA for Red Cross Argentina from Buenos Aires ad agency Dhelet Y&R, a family is at the dinner table. A man seated at the table is about to eat a piece of meat. He proceeds to tell us what will happen once he puts it in his mouth, warning us that he will choke and eventually be unable to breathe.
Yet even with his warning, a supered message notes that the others at the table won’t know what to do. The mono-monikered Wacho of production house Pantera & Co. directed this public service spot titled “The Inevitable Bite”
