With the affirming tagline “Words are powerful. Choose them well,” the piece highlights iconic moments when words have been considered and ultimately chosen well to deliver the most impact.
At a time when fake news has become more prevalent, this :40 seeks to demonstrate the influence and importance of the spoken and written word, and the role that quality journalism plays in providing news, insight and analysis.
The :40 debuts during the Game of Thrones finale in the UK on Monday, Aug. 28, after which it will be rolled out across TV and cinema, with campaign elements also breaking out of home, in audio, digital and print. adam&eveDDB created the campaign in collaboration with The Telegraph’s in-house marketing and creative teams.
