Jonathan Nowak of 8th Street Productions directed this cinema spot titled “World” for Presbyterian Health Plan which opens as if we’re watching a scene from a movie or a trailer promoting that film. We then find that we’ve been taken inside a patient’s interactive video visit with a doctor. This online connection with a doctor can take the drama out of healthcare–even though you wouldn’t know it by judging from the patient’s behavior.
“The misdirection of each scenario was a bit tricky to dial-in as we wanted audiences to believe they’re watching an actual film,” said Nowak. “Working with the talent on these was an absolute blast as we had to focus on creating emotional situations that could shift into the comedy realm.“
The spot is one of three in a cinema campaign helmed by Nowak for Albuquerque, New Mexico-based agency 3 Advertising. “World” and two other spots are being screened in Albuquerque-area movie theaters.
