Territory Group, a collective of creative businesses, has expanded its portfolio with the opening of Terra Firma Pictures, a production and animation studio that specializes in creating content for brand campaigns and video game IPs.
The new venture–which offers content creation to agencies, brands, game companies and developers–has assembled a roster of directors representing a diverse range of styles and aesthetics. The experience of these filmmakers spans commercials, game cinematics, branded content and music videos, as well as disciplines ranging from live action to motion capture, animation and mixed media.
The directorial roster includes Andrew Gant, Ben Hansford, Brien Goodrich, Chris Angelkov, David Adam Roth, Ivo Sousa, Nidia Dias, Onur Senturk, Sebastian Pfeifer and STIP.
Here’s a sampling of Terra Firma directors in terms of their experience, prior affiliations, credits and awards recognition:

Among other Gant-directed fare is “David Beckham in China,” a live-action branded content campaign for China and the U.S. produced by Tinygiant for Haig Club whiskey. Gant additionally directed a live-action spot for nonprofit Children’s Aid which picked up honors from the Webby and Telly Awards. And he produced what was billed as the very first iPad Motion Magazine cover, which went on to win a Cannes Cyber Gold Lion.
