Lisa Buckley has been named managing director of VaynerMedia’s Los Angeles office. She was previously EVP of client services at VaynerMedia New York where she oversaw a diverse roster of clients. In her new role, Buckley will be responsible for shaping the direction and growth of the West Coast office, with a focus on deploying the agency’s unique integrated offering to drive both relevance and growth for clients’ businesses.
Gary Vaynerchuk, CEO of VaynerMedia, said of Buckley, “She has done a tremendous job not only growing our clients’ businesses in New York, but also helping to shape the direction of the agency.”
Buckley brings over 20 years of global advertising and marketing experience to her new role. She joined VaynerMedia in 2015 and, during this time, helped transform it into an integrated, modern-day communications agency. Prior to joining VaynerMedia, Buckley had a successful 15-year career at Grey Global Group. Beginning her career at Grey London, she rose through the ranks, working on blue-chip clients such as Unilever, GSK, Mars Food, and P&G. She continued to expand her European and global brand-building expertise by spending two years at Grey Paris and culminated her tenure with four years at Grey New York, where she served as SVP, account director, running Downy/Lenor NA & Global, as well as Pandora Jewelry Global.
“Having spent the last five years helping to transform and grow VaynerMedia New York, I am excited to continue growing the business across North America,” said Buckley. “I have a clear mission, and that is to focus on our people-first culture, enabling us to deliver with excellence, bringing the best of strategy, creative, and media together to help drive relevancy and growth for our clients’ businesses.”
