Michael K. Lyons, recently the sr. director of Direct Response at ESPN, is heading west to InterMedia Advertising, where he will become the agency’s new VP, media director.
Lyons comes to InterMedia with an impressive track record working for leading TV networks and DR agencies in New York. Prior to his role at ESPN, he was VP of business development and media strategy at Precision Demand. He also spent two years at A&E as VP of direct response, emerging networks, VOD and interactive.
Lyons came to A&E following 14 years at Lifetime, where he rose from account executive to VP direct response & general ad sales. Early in his career, he also worked at BET.
At $600 million agency InterMedia, Lyons will head up media buying for a client roster that includes ShoeDazzle, Clear Choice Dental, SuperBeta Plus, Marinello Schools of Beauty, and Lifestyle Lift. InterMedia Advertising is part of the InterMedia Group of Companies, which offers advertisers the full range of advertising, media, entertainment and communications services.
Also falling under Lyon’s direction is InterMedia’s CPM Network, a proprietary, unwired cable and satellite network that unites 87.5 million homes and features top cable networks at deeply discounted rates.
