Alkemy X is strategically refocusing its core foundational business as a premiere postproduction company, expanding its high-end creative solutions for production companies, agencies, networks, and brands.
Building on its legacy of delivering cutting-edge content since 1981, the very basis on which the company was founded, Alkemy X will concentrate on providing award-winning, world-class editorial, animation, design, visual effects, and finishing, leveraging its deep expertise to elevate storytelling across all platforms. This strategic evolution reimagines the origins of Alkemy X, ensuring that the company continues to serve as an essential partner in bringing visionary projects to life.
“Our commitment to excellence for almost 45 years now remains at the core of everything we do,” said Justin Wineburgh, president and CEO of Alkemy X. “By resharpening our focus on postproduction, we are instilling industry-leading innovation, technology and approaches to post-production, positioning ourselves to better serve all of our clients and partners in an ever-evolving media landscape.”
“This shift allows us to double down on what we do best–elevate projects through top-tier postproduction and visual effects,” noted Sue Fallon, executive producer at Alkemy X. “With our best-in-class post-forward business model, we put our craft at the forefront of everything we do and give our partners the creative firepower needed to bring their vision to life in the most dynamic way possible. It’s an exciting new chapter for Alkemy X.”
“Postproduction is what has made Alkemy X great for four decades, and has never been more integral to great storytelling than it is now,” added Mark Reidenauer, executive producer at Alkemy X. “This evolution is a rededication to our foundational core and allows us to offer clients a seamless, high-end, state-of-the-art experience that enhances their creative vision.”
With a focus solely on postproduction, Alkemy X no longer maintains a directorial roster. However, Supper Club, a newly launched production company separate from Alkemy X, is available to partner with Alkemy X for live-action production. Supper Club is headed by former Alkemy X executive producers Jim Huie and Nick Pitcavage.
