Director Ariel Danziger has joined Eleanor’s U.K. roster. This marks his first signing in the U.K. commercialmaking market. Danziger’s work has been honored at such competitions as Ciclope, the Berlin Commercial awards, the MTV VMAs and the Latin Grammys. His credits range from the richly imaginative visual epic “Summon the Flavors of Agave” for Mayenda Tequila to the harrowingly beautiful short documentary Letter to Rosie….
“Twisters” and “The Idea of You” Top Guild of Music Supervisors Awards With 2 Nominations Each
The Guild of Music Supervisors has unveiled the nominations for their 15th Annual Guild of Music Supervisors Awards. The ceremony honors outstanding achievement in the craft of music supervision in film, television, documentaries, advertising, trailers, and video games. The winners will be announced during an awards gala at The Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 23rd. Performances and celebrity presenters will be revealed at a later date.
Twisters and The Idea of You lead this year’s contenders earning two nominations each recognizing both music supervision and songwriting. Netflix garnered the most nominations for a studio totaling 13 nominations. Additional film contenders include Wicked, Deadpool & Wolverine, Emilia Pérez and The Brutalist. Top TV contenders include Baby Reindeer, Fallout, Palm Royale and English Teacher. Previously announced, songwriter Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) will accept the Icon Award and music supervisor Bonnie Greenberg (My Best Friend’s Wedding) will accept the Legacy Award.
