Chicago-based production company Method & Madness has added director Chris Woods to its roster for representation in the Midwest. Woodsโ career began behind the lens with a Minolta camera as he documented the skateboarding culture around him. Although his skateboarding skills never reached professional levels, his unique eye for capturing the raw energy and personality of the scene quickly garnered attention. As his talent evolved, his work began appearing in major publications such as Rolling Stone and SPIN, propelling him into the world of professional photography. A pivotal moment came when he was invited to direct a commercial–an experience that earned awards and brought Woods international acclaim. This project ignited his passion for motion and storytelling, leading him to transition from photography to a thriving career in directing. Known for his Super Bowl commercials and collaborations with brands like Nike and Apple, Woods has worked with celebrities, musicians, and sports icons.
