Omnicom Production (OP) has welcomed network veteran Alissa Hansen as CEO for North America, and Publicis Groupe’s former chief client officer for global production, Mariusz Urbanczyk, as CEO of U.K. and EMEA.
Omnicom launched OP as a global practice area led by global CEO Sergio Lopez in June 2024, with a vision to transform the production service model for clients’ rapidly shifting content needs.
“As we enter a new chapter of transformation for the industry and Omnicom Production, we continue to bring exceptional talent to partner with our clients to produce creative content experiences that drive results,” said Lopez. “Alissa and Mariusz bring stellar backgrounds in technology, data and business transformation. Their visionary leadership will be instrumental in advancing ‘Craft That Works’ and unlocking new opportunities for innovation and growth.”
Hansen has been under the Omnicom umbrella for 18 years, previously serving as the first chief production officer at Critical Mass, an OPMG agency, where she founded the agency’s first live-action studio.
She recently spearheaded the development of ArtBot, Omnicom’s intelligent content automation product, and has focused on driving transformational change across the network’s agencies and brands as Omnicom’s chief product officer for global content transformation. With well-established relations across Omnicom and the wider industry, she brings experience in traditional and automated production to the role.
“We have an opportunity to shape and set a new standard of excellence which integrates leading talent, new technologies and platforms, and connects expertise around the network in a more comprehensive way than we ever could before,” said Hansen. “This brings an exciting transformative effect for our clients as well as an opportunity to unlock new potential amongst creators and makers.”
Most recently at Publicis Groupe, Urbanczyk previously spent two years with production company Papaya Films, and before that, eight years at Hogarth Worldwide.
As OP’s CEO of U.K. and EMEA, he will also focus on driving creative transformation and brings a wealth of international management experience.
“This is the biggest transformation project by any of the network groups,” said Urbanczyk. “We’re all-in on creating a new service model for a new world, a service model that is expressly about meeting client needs now and in the future. I am intensely focused on client relationships, and Alissa’s product experience feels perfectly complementary.”
