Butter creative director Jakob Rabitsch scores a Grammy nomination

International music company BUTTER Music + Sound’s Berlin-based creative director Jakob Rabitsch has been nominated for a Grammy Award for his role as a producer on 6LACK’s ‘Free 6LACK’ album in the Best Urban Contemporary Album category. In addition to producing the album, Rabitsch served as a co-writer and instrumentalist for several of the album’s tracks. Upon release, the album--out of Interscope Records--reached No.1 on the iTunes R&B/Soul album charts, as well as No. 8 on the R&B Billboard album charts. 

Rabitsch is an artist, writer and producer whose musical talents serve a wide range of projects including music and sound for advertising campaigns for brands such as Hyundai, Cartier and Hyatt. He has also provided scores and arrangements for Austrian TV productions (“Tatort”, “Dancing Stars”). 

Grammy winners will be announced at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards in New York on January 28.
