$18 million has been spent thus far on advertising for Iowa’s Senate race; $36 million in Kentucky. What’s your take on the exponential increase in ad spending for the mid-term elections?

It’s big business which is good business. Increased spending on advertising is good for our industry.

Since much of the political advertising is negative, it ultimately gives our industry a black eye. It’s not work to be proud of.

The impact on our industry doesn’t matter. It pales by comparison to the negative impact on our country.
