Director Nico Kasakoff

Production company 1stAveMachine has added Argentinian director Nico Kasakoff to its roster. A 20-year advertising and filmmaking veteran, Kasakoff joins 1stAve after spending several years in his native Buenos Aires, where he first joined up with hometown agency Agulla & Baccetti as an art director before settling into the director’s chair for clients ranging from Ford to Stella Artois to Nike. Kasakoff has also helmed ads for MTV, music videos and short films, garnering D&AD Yellow Pencils along with Cannes Gold, Silver and Bronze Lions in the process.... 

Sedna Films, headed by EP Dirk Detweiler, has signed director Paul Boyd for commercial representation. Among Boyd’s commercial directing credits are Dodge, Jaguar, L’Oreal, Target and Clairol and music videos for Stevie Nicks, Deadmau5 and Dave Stewart. Boyd specializes in highly-stylized and musically-driven auto, comedy and beauty storytelling.  His talents have been recognized with numerous awards from MTV, VH1, Camerimage and Best Picture at the New York International Latino Film Festival for his feature length film, Vicious Circle.....

Production company AllDayEveryDay, which works with the likes of AMEX, AirBnB, Nike, Chipotle, Mac Cosmetics and Moncler, has tapped Oscar Thomas to serve as executive producer for both its New York and Los Angeles operations. Thomas brings with him over 20 years’ of industry experience, beginning from his time joining Ridley Scott’s RSA in his native London at the age of 16 to his work as an agency producer at the likes of CP+B and Cliff Freeman & Partners to eventually founding his own visual storytelling collective. At AllDayEveryday, Thomas will oversee and manage a roster of not only fashion, comedy, and visual storytellers, but also sales reps in NYC, the Midwest and LA....
