YouTube and BuzzFeed Motion Pictures (BFMP), the Los Angeles studio arm of the global media and entertainment company, announced that YouTube has ordered full seasons of the scripted comedy series Broke and the competition show Squad Wars. Broke, the first project to debut from BFMP, is an 11-episode series following the lives of best friends and recent grads who don’t let being broke stop them from pursuing their big dreams. This comedy series shows how to make the most out of having the least. It was created by and stars Quinta Brunson, a BFMP producer and development partner, along with Maurice Williams and Paul Dupree. Broke debuts exclusively on YouTube Red on September 28, 2016. BuzzFeed’s Try Guys (Ned Fulmer, Keith Habersberger, Zach Kornfeld, Eugene Lee Yang) have taken the Internet by storm, pushing themselves to try everything from pregnancy simulation to UFC fighting. In Squad Wars, they are putting the challenge out to other famous squads to test the limits of their respective loyalties and friendship. In this original competition show, squads will compete in outrageous tests for the chance to face off against the Try Guys themselves, and claim the honor of Top Squad. The Squad Wars series will be debut on YouTube Red in 2017.....
