Christine Bilich, Formerly of Saatchi, Joins Squeak E Clean
NEW YORK --

Christine Bilich has joined music and sound design house Squeak E. Clean Productions’ New York office as director of development and producer. As the first permanent East Coast team member, Bilich will be leading the office by developing and building its presence in the market, as well as music supervising and producing projects.

Bilich joins Squeak E Clean from Saatchi & Saatchi, New York where she was a music producer creating original scores and music supervising for brands like Tide, Chase Freedom and Cheerios.

Buzzy Cohen, managing director of Squeak E Clean, which is headquartered in Culver City, Calif., said of Bilich, “On top of her passion for music, she brings with her varied experience from all facets of the music industry. She’ll be able to bring her experience from the agency side to deepen our client relationships, as well as her vast knowledge of music publishing and licensing.

A graduate of New York University’s music business program, Bilich, a self-proclaimed girl group enthusiast and soundtrack junkie, shifted her true passion to start her music career at EMI Music Publishing on the strategic marketing team. While there, she showed her mettle with matching songs, writers and bands to brands like American Express, Old Navy, and Nike. Bilich then moved to EMIMP’s product & content team where she managed catalog masters and acquisitions, which include recordings from Phil Spector, Blue Note Records and the Pointer Sisters.

Bilich founded and developed the creative licensing department at Modern Works Music Publishing, building its client list from the ground up and establishing its synch licensing marketing program. Additionally, she is responsible for signing writers/artists like YouTube sensations The Gregory Brothers, the Toni Braxton catalog and upcoming indie hit-makers like paperwhite, Tom Brosseau and Julias Moon.

Bilich joins Squeak E Clean after a banner year for the company. In addition to opening a new state-of-the-art studio located in Culver City, the company has produced top tier work for Powerade, Facebook, Honda and Google, among others.
