Robbyn Foxx Hines--known in the industry as Robbyn Foxx, a prominent agent at Innovative Artists for 11 years, serving as head of its commercial department--passed away last month (1/17) from respiratory complications at the age of 49.

Prior to Innovative Artists, Robbyn worked at several production companies as an executive producer and head of production. She exhibited a wry sense of humor, no-nonsense honesty, caring and consideration for others which formed bonds throughout the business. All her life, Robbyn made a positive, lasting impact on those around her. Upon winning a beauty pageant in her Kansas hometown at the age of seven, she became the poster child for the national Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and so captivated President Carter during a visit to the White House that he canceled meetings to spend the afternoon with her. Robbyn went on to a professional career that spanned modeling, production, and her long-time role as an agent helping to nurture the careers of the talent she represented.

Her gritty determination, resilience and quiet grace in the face of her medical condition served as an inspiration to those who came to know her. The industry rallied behind her in 2003 by organizing a lung donor drive on her behalf. Back then, Robbyn was head of production at commercial production house harvest films. 

But above all else, Robbyn was devoted to her husband Bradley, whom she met at the University of Kansas, and their daughter, Ava. Robbyn relished every moment spent with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Bradley Hines, daughter Ava Parker Hines, mother Joyce Freeman and her husband Jim, father Ron Foxx, brother Travis Foxx, in-laws Anna and Frank Hines, and extended family far and wide.
