The Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) will present the prestigious Vanguard Award to the Research Council of Makeup Artists (RCMA Makeup) at the 12th Annual MUAHS Awards. The award will be bestowed at the gala event on Saturday, February 15, at the Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel.
The Vanguard Award is presented to an individual or organization, who has made significant contributions to the make-up and hair styling industry and has left a lasting impact on the craft.
“This year we are honoring the legacy of the RCMA, a pillar in the make-up and hair styling community for over sixty years. Their products have been used by many of our members, enhancing the creative designs of iconic characters in film, television and theater. We look forward to celebrating this esteemed brand and extraordinary family and their contributions to the entertainment industry,” said Julie Socash, MUAHS president, IATSE Local 706.
