Creative post studio /WILDCHILD/ is joining forces with West Coast post house bonch to form /WILDCHILD/ + bonch. In the newly established partnership, L.A.-based bonch will represent /WILDCHILD/’s roster throughout the West Coast for a variety of commercial and feature-length projects, while /WILDCHILD/ will act in the same capacity out East for bonch’s talent.
The partnership will effectively serve to combine the two shops’ strengths, establishing an integrated roster with editors in beauty, fashion, short- and long-form visual storytelling, multicultural markets, and more. Both locations offer the breadth of postproduction services from offline to finishing and everything in between.
“After meeting the people at /WILDCHILD/ it felt like this was meant to be–they are talented, creative, and down to earth,” said bonch owner and editor Jarrett Fijal, who has worked with directors Floria Sigimondi, Anthony Mandler, David LaChapelle, Jake Nava and Peter Glanz, among many more, and whose work on Justin Timberlake’s music video, “Mirrors,” recently earned a VMA for Best Editing. “Partnering up with them has given us a combined roster of talent that can compete on the highest level.”
“With /WILDCHILD/ + bonch, we wanted to give the advertising community a new creative resource with a larger reach and diversity of talent than either company could offer individually,” noted founding /WILDCHILD/ editor and owner, Yvette Pineyro. Connecting with bonch continues expansion at /WILDCHILD/ which recently hired executive producer Melissa Miller and added editors Richard Mettler and Stewart Shevin to its roster.
