THE SPOT
"Stroll" opens on a man wandering the streets of New York, armed with his Sony credit card. Scenarios become "Sony-fied" when he peers through the transparent strip in the middle of the opaque white card: a woman who pops gum into her mouth is transformed into a cyber-girl who pulls out the memory strip from her Sony Cybershot digital camera, and a small dog turns into a robotic Sony Aibo companion. Throughout the :60, a voiceover points out that each purchase on the Sony Card translates into points that can be redeemed for Sony products. "It’s your window to the things you want," states the narrator.
