Bicoastal music production house Face The Music and London-based music company Traxx have formed an international alliance whereby Traxx composers Kevin Sergent, Ronnie Paris, and the Electric Wonderland duo of Brian and Ken Foreman will be available to work for the U.S market exclusively through Face The Music.
The composers have all signed with Traxx in the past six months and will continue to reside in London.
Face The Music was launched in January by partners Adam Joseph and Joe Sicurella. Birgit Roberts and Joseph will serve as executive producers in the New York and Los Angeles offices, respectively, while Traxx executive producer/founder Sharon Rose will oversee work in London.
The alliance came about following discussions between Joseph and Rose. The two first met several years ago, when Joseph started working through Rose’s London recording studio, Hear No Evil. Joseph said he recently approached Rose with the idea of working together following repeated requests from American clients to work with British talent.
"There is such a growing market in terms of U.S. agencies wanting to finish in Britain using a British director, editing company and music production company. On the other hand, we are also seeing U.S. agencies wanting to use a British music company even though they are finishing it here in the States," said Joseph.
Rose, who is a native of Texas but relocated to the U.K. 15 years ago, said the alliance with Face The Music is a great opportunity for her composers to expand their experience beyond the European market.
While Traxx was established five years ago, the company only signed composers late last year with the intention of having them specialize in the U.S. market.
