It doesn’t matter that the dyed color of the lucky rabbit’s foot doesn’t match the bunny to which it’s being reattached. The point is that scientists and state-of-the-art technology are being brought to bear to reunite rabbits with their long lost feet.
That’s the outlandish premise of this spot from Fallon Minneapolis which takes us to the technologically sophisticated Rabbit’s Foot Reattachment Center. Why is the perennially lucky rabbit’s foot no longer needed? The tagline explains, “You don’t need luck as long as you’ve got the right insurance–insurance that stays in synch with your risks,” meaning coverage from Travelers.
Tim Godsall of Biscuit Filmworks, Los Angeles, directed “Luck,” backed by production house exec producer Shawn Lacy Tessaro and producer Lauren Bayer. Bryan Newman was the DP.
The Fallon team included group creative director Todd Riddle (who has since been promoted to agency creative director ), art director Dean Hanson, copywriter Dean Buckhorn, director of broadcast, North America, Vic Palumbo and producer Jennifer David.
A52 was the visual effects house. Rick Lawley of The Whitehouse was the editor.
