Production company Tomorrow has signed director Daniel Iglesias Jr. for U.S. commercial representation. His work has earned varied industry accolades including a recent Bronze Clio for his Kid Culture “Keep It” music video and a “Best Picture” award from the London Fashion Film Festival for “Margaux Vol. 1.” Iglesias’ music videos for artists such as Doja Cat, Stephen Sanchez and The Neighborhood have amassed millions of views online and informs his branded work for clients such as Vogue, Skyy Vodka, Ralph Lauren, Capital One, Chrysler and Ikea. Daniel has recently completed work for Graduate Hotels, Welch’s, and LEGO.
“Daniel is the perfect addition to Tomorrow’s expanding roster. Not only has he honed a strikingly fresh aesthetic that feels distinct and authentic to him–he’s backed up his eye-catching visuals with a commitment to deeply human storytelling,” said Tomorrow managing director Chris Zander. “It’s this layer of depth that brings his work to the next level, celebrating the offbeat, the individual, and the wonderfully weird. He’s also just a great human to work with! We couldn’t be more thrilled to help him continue to realize his artistic talents in the ad world.”
Iglesias shared, “The level of care and thoughtful support I’ve had at Tomorrow has been amazing. They’re a bespoke team of professionals, combining fresh voices and seasoned veterans, with taste and class. I’ve felt a strong and immediate upswing in my commercial game since joining and I’m so excited to build alongside a team that can help me reach my fullest creative potential!”
While completing an MFA for screen acting at Chapman University, Iglesias was tapped to direct The Neighborhood’s “Sweater Weather” music video, which to date has landed over 750 million YouTube views and propelled him into a directing career. His dual experiences as a filmmaker and actor inform his highly collaborative orientation, with a skillful approach to working with both his crew behind the camera and his on-screen talent. He has directed over 60 videos, films and commercials. Notably, his visual poem for Vogue earned Best Creative Concept at La Jolla and his music video for X Ambassadors received a Gold Clio. Iglesias had earlier been repped by Good Company.
