After 35 years with Circle Productions’ Vancouver office, executive producer Tom Murray is retiring. Murray built a stellar international reputation for providing A-level foreign production companies, Canadian ad agencies and top-tier directors with savvy project planning, bidding, and comprehensive management services on a wide range of commercial productions.
Meanwhile Mike Gill is slated to join the Circle family in Vancouver as staff EP effective April 3. Over the past 20 years, Gill has been a mainstay producer and production manager on a range of Circle’s commercial projects, working with leading Canadian Agencies, as well as managing service work for established U.S., British, and European production companies, their directors and producers. Gill will join and work in concert with Circle Toronto office EPs Karen Tameanko and Laurence Payne, and Vancouver office managing partner Chris Bowell, EP Blake Bowell, talent exec Tania James, and valued staff in both offices.
The Many Hires Jeremiah Wassom As Group Creative Director
Independent agency The Many has added Jeremiah Wassom as group creative director.
Wassom most recently worked a decade at Deutsch LA where, as SVP/creative director, he led the Taco Bell account and won new business for the agency. His agency past also includes AKQA and TBWAChiatDay. His creative work has touched the QSR, video games, automotive, fashion, and culture brand sectors. He also served eight years with the United States Marine Corps.
