Bicoastal editing and finishing studio jumP adds audio to its offerings with the launch of the new Thunder Sound at jumP’s facility in Culver City’s Arts District. The state-of-the-art mixing studio emerges out of a new partnership between jumP and legendary mixer and Thunder founder Art Wright.
The new Thunder Sound will continue providing clients with high quality mixing, recording and sound design for everything from commercials to film and television. The Thunder operation was specially designed with intense attention to detail both acoustically and aesthetically, as Wright, whose career spans more than two decades in the industry, wanted this space to be reminiscent of his last studio while taking it to a whole new level. The modern space features a spacious client area, large recording booth, Hi Def video playback on a 60” monitor, 5.1 Surround mixing, ISDN lines and a huge SFX library. Clients will enjoy the amenities at jumP’s expansive facility, with a full kitchen and client services, and an outdoor patio.
jumP’s roster includes partner/editors Luis Moreno and Michael Saia, and editors David Trachtenberg, Lin Polito, Patrick Griffin, Adrianna Merlucci, Richard Cooperman, Troy Mercury, David Johnston and Justin Tolley. Executive producers at jumP are Alexandra Leal and Betsy Beale. jumP and Thunder clients can access editorial and sound work under one roof.
