THE SPOT
"Purpose" (:30) opens on a white background with an overhead swarm of Mega Bloks. One red Blok falls onto the white surface and is quickly followed by light gray, dark gray, black and red-orange colored Bloks. They fall in rapid succession to build a Honda Element piece by piece. First, an interior view of the passenger side door and seat is created, then a front quarter panel of the vehicle is formed. As the Bloks continue to rain down, the camera pans in to reveal the building dashboard, steering wheel and sunroof, followed by two rear seats that fold down and flip up for extra trunk space, and finally, a clamshell tailgate and side cargo doors. After the final Blok falls into place, the SUV rotates around for a head-on view. "Every piece has its purpose," states the voiceover (by actor Richard Dreyfuss). "The Element from Honda."
Spot broke in October.
