Sound design and music production studio String and Tins has promoted EP Rachel Hough to managing director and added sound designer/composer Culum Simpson to its talent roster.
Simpson has worked in advertising, long form, feature film and video games. He started his career at Jungle Studios, before moving to GCRS where he further honed his skills working with brands such as Pepsi, Diesel and BT and developing content for immersive audio and VR.
Hough joined the London-based String and Tins last year. She has an agency producer’s pedigree, having worked at shops including Fallon, BBH and Droga5. She has been behind ads for brands such as The Guardian, Johnnie Walker, Sony, Honda, Boots, Samsung, Carling, Hovis, Lynx, St John Ambulance and many more, including the Emmy-nominated Amazon Alexa 2020 Super Bowl campaign.
