Dapper.tv, Believe Media’s comedy division, has signed director Alberto Belli. His irreverent short It’s Not Porn, It’s HBO, which spoofs the fine line between the cable network’s explicit content and adult entertainment, came hot off the heels of For Your Consideration, Belli’s parody “ad” for Anne Hathaway’s performance in Les Misรฉrables. The videos were viral success stories, one after the other. Belli earned inclusion in SHOOT’s 2014 New Directors Showcase and then Saatchi & Saatchi’s New Directors Showcase at Cannes. At the time, he was with his first commercial production house roost, Accomplice Media. Belli recently helmed spots for Tide and BCBG Max Azria. He is currently working on a pilot presentation for Comedy Central, as well as branded content for The Onion, College Humor and Leo Burnett Chicago….
