Chicago-based MK Films has brought tabletop director Todd Klein aboard its roster. Klein (no relation to original MK founder Mark Klein) has collaborated with such clients as Conagra, Coca-Cola, and Anheuser-Busch. The signing of Klein is part of MK Films’ and current owner/director Darren Weninger’s ongoing expansion which included the additions of director Justin Hayward and still photographer David Raine in 2018. As an experienced live action director and DP, Hayward’s expertise creates new possibilities for brands to tell their story through live action or combined with tabletop. Tom Sann joins the creative team at Wonderful Agency as executive producer, the most senior position in the shop’s integrated production department. He will report to CCO Darren Moran, working across all of the company’s consumer and philanthropic brands as well as on internal video content. Sann will also partner with Moran on building out the production and post capabilities of the agency as it moves into a new state-of-the art 20,000 square foot space in April. Sann joins Wonderful from BBDO New York, where he has been an EP for the last eight years, producing broadcast, digital and social content for brands such as AT&T, Visa, Gillette, ExxonMobil, J&J and Humana. The Many Hires Jeremiah Wassom As Group Creative Director
Independent agency The Many has added Jeremiah Wassom as group creative director.
Wassom most recently worked a decade at Deutsch LA where, as SVP/creative director, he led the Taco Bell account and won new business for the agency. His agency past also includes AKQA and TBWAChiatDay. His creative work has touched the QSR, video games, automotive, fashion, and culture brand sectors. He also served eight years with the United States Marine Corps.
