BIRTH UK has signed French-Malagasy director and photographer Laรซtitia Ramamonjisoa. Until recently part of the Kourtrajmeuf (KTM) female collective that directed impressive films for Nike, Reebok and Givenchy, she is now embarking on a solo career with BIRTH UK in London. Growing up between Madagascar and Paris, Ramamonjisoa developed her singular creative vision at a young age. She wrote stories and made personal films on subjects ranging from family identity and multiculturalism to climate change. Her grandmother, the acclaimed writer, poet and activist Charlotte Arrisoa Rafenomanjato, was a great inspiration. Ramamonjisoa studied environmental engineering for four years in France, worked as an environmentalist in Madagascar and to this day continues to use filmmaking to talk about climate issues. Ramamonjisoa’s credits include commercials for luxury brands and the short film Imani which reveals the moving story of a tsunami survivor applying for France’s climate refugee program….
Director Henry Littlechild has joined Dublin-based production house Banjoman for commercial representation in Ireland. Early on in his career, Littlechild caught the attention of The Viral Factory with whom he co-directed multiple projects including virals for Ford Ka which were seen by over 30 million people and won several awards, including a Silver BTAA and Young Guns Bronze. He has since gone on to work with a whole host of agencies across Europe, such as AMV BBDO, Saatchi & Saatchi, Fallon, Leo Burnett, MullenLowe, Grey, Ogilvy, Scholz & Friends and TBWA. Littlechild has crafted his own distinct style, crossing live-action, VFX, animation, puppetry and CGI postproduction techniques to create comedy performances. Littlechild has showcased his particular talents for constructing CG characters when designing a savvy tabby for Vanquis’ “Walk Tall,” a bumbling bear for Samsung’s “ASMR” and an endearing Albert Einstein for Smart Energy’s “Einstein Knows Best,” among assorted others……
