Stephen Ledger-Lomas has joined BBH London as its new head of production.
Ledger-Lomas’ role at BBH will see him lead the agency’s multi skilled production offering and continue to develop innovative new ways of collaborating with BBH’s production partners.
Alongside the running of the department he will be focused on improving BBH’s ability to deliver against agile briefs and broadening the diversity of production talent the agency works with.
Ledger-Lomas joins BBH from David James Associates (DJA) where he managed production across all accounts including Ferragamo, Berluti, Zara, Jil Sander and Loewe and established a production department and working systems for the company.
Prior to this, he was a production lead and head of art buying for Mother London where he also set up the “Downstairs at Mother” exhibition and event space and helped to establish Mother Design. He has also held key roles with Rankin, Winkreative and Port Magazine. As photography director of Dazed & Confused, he was part of the leadership team which set up Nowness alongside Jefferson Hack.
Ledger-Lomas has also recently co-directed (with Phoebe Arnstein) the short film The Dog With The Woman, starring Martin Freeman and Amanda Burton, which in the last year has been included in the official selection for San Diego International, Aesthetica Film Festival and British Shorts in Berlin.
Anthony Austin, executive creative director said: “We need a production department that delivers beautifully crafted execution, but is also fit to answer the demands of a constantly changing industry. Stephen has a diverse professional background, and brings a new energy and creative vision to the role. We know he will continue the legacy of BBH production, but also forge new ways of working and new areas for us to move into.”
