THE SPOT
"Imagine New York" (:60/:30/:15) features celebrities such as Harvey Keitel, Kevin Bacon, Bebe Neuwirth and Richard Belzer in various parts of New York City, asking viewers to participate in "Imagine New York," a series of public workshops in which people can give input regarding the future of the World Trade Center site, the city and communities. A quick montage of celebrities as well as New Yorkers—each stating the word "imagine"—leads to the spot’s conclusion, in which the celebrities recite the lyrics to John Lennon’s famous song. Yoko Ono delivers the last line of the message of hope, before the tag reads, "Imagine New York—giving voice to the people’s vision."
