Stacy Wall, a creative director at Wieden+ Kennedy (W+K), New York, office, is joining bicoastal/international production house hungry man in order to concentrate on television programs. However, Wall said he will probably not leave the agency until August.
Wall and hungry man director/partner/co-founder Hank Perlman have been friends since ’90, when they both worked as copywriters at Deutsch, New York. Later, both were copywriters at W+K’s Portland, Ore. office. Since hungry man’s opening in ’97, Wall and hungry man have collaborated on both commercials (ESPN SportCenter’s "Suits Policy" and "Marlin’s Bat Boys" were written by Wall and directed by Perlman) and, more recently, on television shows. In April, Wall was the creator/executive producer/ writer of a pilot (which was not picked up) for FOX called The Number One Show in America, which was produced by hungry man and Los Angeles-based Basic Entertainment (formerly Brillstein-Grey).
