THE SPOT
"Olympic Downhill" promotes the upcoming Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. The :30 opens with Tony the Tiger riding on a ski lift up a snow-covered mountain. As he attempts to dismount, his ski gets wedged in the snow and he flails awkwardly into a snow embankment. He whistles for a St. Bernard, who races over to Tony with a bowl of Frosted Flakes. Tony consumes the cereal, which gives him the extra edge he needs to ski down the mountain, eventually landing on the winner’s platform.
