THE SPOT
"Deja View" opens on a man walking across a street that is populated by several characters, most noticeably a man dressed in a purple octopus costume. As the man continues his stroll, the scene around him keeps repeating. He snaps a picture of the action with his Nokia phone and sends it to a friend. "Your life now with instant replay," states the voiceover. "Share it instantly. Video phones from Nokia." The friend—who is working in an office—gets the photo and as the camera pulls back, the same street scene starts happening around her cubicle. The :30 ends with the Nokia logo and the tagline, "Connecting people."
Spot broke in late October.
