Sibling Films has added Jeff Bitsack to its roster of filmmakers. Most recently Bitsack directed for Eleanor Films, working with Blue Diamond Almond on a new campaign that launched in June. Before moving into the director world full time in 2010, Bitsack was an associate creative director, primarily on the ESPN account. He then moved on to JWT as executive creative director churning out work for the likes of Swedish Fish, Domino’s Pizza, LL Bean, and JetBlue.
Bitsack made an early filmmaking mark when he gained inclusion into SHOOT’s 8th Annual New Directors Showcase in 2010. At the time he was with production company Humble where he directed work for the likes of Starburst, Honda, Dunkin’ Donuts, Lowe’s, MSG Network, and Publix. With spots for Toyota and Subway, his prowess for visual storytelling emerged. Then in 2014, he joined Caviar’s roster collaborating with top agencies to build a diverse body of work for clients including Hotels.com, Toyota, VW, Hefty, AT&T, and Frito-Lay.
Bitsack has taken home multiple awards over the years for his creative endeavors; One Show Pencils, D&AD pencils, Cannes Lions, Communication Arts honors, and a Grand Clio. On the directorial front, his work garnered millions of YouTube views, multiple Clios, and earned an Emmy nomination.
“As Sibling continues to grow, we are thrilled to bring Jeff into the fold and diversify our roster with his talent and expertise,” said Mikon Van Gastel, co-founder and executive creative director at Sibling. “Jeff’s unique comedic sensibility and style and ‘actor’s director’ approach, inspire great performances (comedic or otherwise) and authentic moments.”
Bitsack shared, “The quality of Sibling’s work is excellent, but what really stood out to me is the exceptional people, from ownership to the production team to our reps, and they always make me feel incredibly well-supported.”
