How have you adapted your behavior, practices, policies, approaches, ways of thinking and doing business in response to the pandemic?
Prior to the stay at home order, we’d put new protocols in place. We had a few projects in production and had implemented social distancing on set and designated a crew member as the Sanitary Set Manager to keep wiping down areas, especially around shared equipment. We also started the packaged (prepared foods) craft service table, with craft service members serving crew versus crew helping themselves.
Were you in the midst of a particular project when the coronavirus outbreak hit and how did you manage to deal with that situation?
Yes. We had multiple conversations with our clients to pause, take down and wait for the appropriate date to resume production when ban is lifted so that all personnel (crew, cast and clients) are able to work safely together.
What advice, if any, would you offer to your counterparts at other companies/agencies, your clients and collaborators?
Please make sure you stay on top of your cash management during this crisis. Cash is key.
