THE SPOT
"Griffey" (:30) features the Cincinnati Reds star engaged in batting practice. A young boy approaches and asks Griffey if he would like "to try new sports." Griffey, not realizing that the boy is referring to Nabisco’s new Sportz crackers, throws a football into the upper deck, and slams a tennis ball into stadium lights. The spot concludes with an animated Griffey gobbling up Sportz, then returns to live action with Griffey rollerblading out of control.
Spot broke in March.
