Benjamin Santoro, previously a freelance composer and touring musician who worked on campaigns for Coca-Cola, Gillette, Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, Toyota and more, as well as the Netflix series Fearless, has joined the Score a Score team, working out of its Boston office as a creative manager.
Headquartered in Los Angeles, Score a Score specializes in creating and licensing original music, sound design and voiceover for all forms of media, including ads, promos, trailers, branded content, film, TV and media games.
Santoro will work alongside founder/CEO Jordan Passman, COO Jake Weinreb, director of business affairs Jacy Skeen and creative managers Cian Favat and Marchese Taylor. Santoro will be focusing on creative initiatives and development, as well as the growth and expansion of the overall business, which connects top-tier composers and their music with content producers.

Score a Score is closing out 2017 as another record breaking year, working on a higher-volume of projects than ever. Some of its recent work includes projects for Google, Verizon, Microsoft, Taco Bell, Coca Cola, Gap and BMW, and trailers for titles such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Red Sparrow, Early Man, Murder on the Orient Express and The Commuter.
The team is also active on the music supervision side, working on upcoming series for TBS, Netflix, Amazon, YouTubeRed and Facebook.
Oscar and Emmy-Winning Composer Kris Bowers Joins Barking Owl For Advertising, Branded Content
Music, audio post and sonic branding house Barking Owl has taken on exclusive representation of Oscar and Emmy-winning composer Kris Bowers for advertising and branded content.
Bowersโ recent film scores include The Wild Robot and Bob Marley: One Love, alongside acclaimed past works such as The Color Purple (2023), King Richard and Green Book. His contributions to television are equally impressive, with scores for hit series like Bridgerton, When They See Us, Dear White People, and his Daytime Emmy Award-winning score for The Snowy Day.
In addition to his work as a composer, Bowers is a visionary director. He recently took home the Academy Award for Best Documentary Short Subject for his directorial work on The Last Repair Shop. The emotionally touching short film spotlights four of the people responsible for repairing the musical instruments used by students in the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD). The Last Repair Shop reflects the positive influence that musical instruments have on the youngsters who play them, and the adults in the LAUSD free repair service who keep them working and in tune.
