Commercial production company STORY, headquartered in Chicago, and its sister company, Accomplice Media, based in Santa Monica, Calif., have secured Melissa Thornley as head of new business development covering the Midwest. Thornley will market both companies’ roster of commercial directors and creative talents to agencies and clients in the Midwest. Thornley previously was managing director of Beast, Method and Company 3, and prior to that was managing director for The Whitehouse Post, alternatively in their Chicago, NY and London offices. She is currently working in new business development for Hum Music, a position she will hold concurrently with her new role at STORY and Accomplice.
ARRI Inc. has appointed Wilson Zeferino as the new director of sales, Latin American markets. Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese and English, Zeferino will further develop business and strategy in the Caribbean, Central America and South America. He will also oversee sales efforts and customer service in these territories to strengthen ARRI’s presence across the region. Zeferino previously worked at Fujifilm in the Optical Devices division as sales and marketing manager for North America, Latin America, Mexico and the Caribbean.
