Believe Media has brought on Minerva Content partners Mary Knox and Shauna Seresin to head sales and marketing for the company globally. The move reunites Knox with Believe founders Luke Thornton and Liz Silver, as she was the company’s first head of sales when it started up in 2000. She and Seresin will lead branding and sales efforts while working with Believe’s existing reps internationally. Minerva retains its roster of clients that it represents both nationally and on the East Coast.
West Coast representation shop Safeword Creative Management, launched by Erika Sheldon and Erika Bokamper in April, has brought on former ICM commercial agent Matt Griffin as junior rep. Griffin has a diverse background in talent and commercial management, having spent time on both sides of celebrity brand partnership. The hire comes on the heels of the addition of two clients to Safeword’s roster–international production company Community Films and Los Angeles-based production company JOJX.
