Nomad Editing Company has signed Lauren Schuchman and her new independent firm, Diplomat, to handle West Coast sales representation. Schuchman was previously head of U.S. sales at The Sweet Shop. Along with Nomad’s LA and NY offices, Diplomat also reps production companies Nomad FC, The Sweet Shop, The Cavalry, Hound, and Spectacle VR/AR as well as JSM Music.
ICM Partners is now representing cinematographer James Laxton for commercials and feature films exclusively. Laxton most recently shot the feature film Moonlight directed by Barry Jenkins.
The Sparks Productions team in Canada has grown with the hire of Anielika Sykes as sales representative. She will work alongside company president Andy Crosbie for television commercials and EP/head of sales Pamela Hamilton for commercial photography. The team is wrapping a successful year of producing highly visible television and print advertising campaigns.
