Stept Studios, with bases of operation in Los Angeles and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, has promoted Meredith Rodriguez to chief growth officer. In her new role, Rodriguez will oversee the studios’ growth and expansion efforts across commercial, brand content, entertainment, and innovation. Rodriguez joined Stept four years ago, as head of sales, focused on expanding how Stept worked with brands and agencies, organizing its teams to best support its services across creative, production and post. In addition, Rodriguez built an in-house marketing group that manages Stept’s social and PR presence for its own brands Stept Studios, Lockt Editorial and Vault Rentals. Recently, she created and led the newly formed entertainment division, focused on film and television, leading the financing, and kicking off production for its first feature documentary this month. As chief growth officer, Rodriguez will focus on identifying new growth strategies, expanding the breadth of services Stept offers while maintaining a high level of return clients. Loop Talent in the U.K. has brought veteran agents Nikki Molloy and Zoe Martin on board and launched a new slate of line producers, production managers and 1st assistant directors, while adding to its already established list of intimacy coordinators. Molloy and Martin join founder and managing director of Loop Talent, Lucy Price, to further curate its roster of heads of department and crew working in film, high-end television drama, commercials and music videos. The women join agents James Dawson and Daisy Stone (DP, production design, costume, editor, crew manager lists) supported by agent assistant Megan Cotton. Prior to Loop, Molloy and Martin worked in the film and television industry as successful freelancers. Molloy is a 20-year industry veteran, with extensive credits as an assistant director working on a broad range of high-end TV and feature productions (The Personal History of David Copperfield; Goodbye Christopher Robin; Apple TV+’s Trying; and Amazon’s Jack Ryan). Martin, a BAFTA award-winning producer, joined Price earlier in the year as a part-time agent alongside Molloy. In her previous roles at ITV Studios and Channel 4, Martin worked on a variety of shows from development through to production. She produced primetime programs for the networks.
