Becca Falborn has launched her own representation, marketing and PR service company, Little Bird, as CEO, founder and president. Falborn most recently held a dual role as executive producer of business development for Santa Monica, Calif.-based audio post company, Lime Studios, and NYC post house, Assembly. She now continues to handle Lime Studios and Assembly, among others, via Little Bird. In 2014, Falborn started working as receptionist and in client services for post house Nice Shoes. After two years, she went on to expand her expertise at Hogarth as a business affairs coordinator, handling the agency’s largest worldwide account at the time, Mattel, as well as Cabelas. In 2017, Falborn became a producer at Sound Lounge. There, she quickly ascended, filling the role of sr. producer before ultimately securing her title as executive producer in 2019. This was one of her biggest career years, having also produced 12 Super Bowl campaigns in tandem with her promotion at the age of 28, and later a nomination for Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list. In 2021, Falborn kicked off the year as EP of New York for Lime Studios, expanding its offerings to East Coast clientele. In 2022, Falborn began offering additional services outside of her full-time job with Lime–with their support–due to high demand. In January of 2023, Falborn became a full time dual-employee split between Lime and Assembly, spearheading both companies business development and sales efforts. Prior to breaking into advertising in 2014, Falborn worked as a production assistant on reality television productions such as Jersey Shore, Snooki & JWoww, and Tattoo Nightmares. London-based production studio KODE has added Sophia Melvin to its team as head of marketing and PR. Melvin will lead all PR and marketing endeavors and opportunities, while creating new ways to develop and support the growth of KODE into the new year. Melvin established her career as the PR and sales rep at Cut+Run London, representing a roster of seasoned editors, as well as a pool of up-and-coming talent. Melvin’s experience also includes serving as Rankin’s film and photography rep where she repped the man himself along with a roster of young photographers and filmmakers. During her time at Rankin, Melvin also spearheaded the internationally recognized project #GetSnogging for International Kissing Day, that caught the attention of Vogue and GQ. Arista Records has appointed Sharon Timure as head of marketing and Kelsey Hession as publicity lead. Both are based in New York and will report to David Massey, president and CEO, and Veronica Sanjines, general manager. Timure joins Arista after a nearly 20-year tenure at Island Records where she worked in both tour marketing and strategic marketing and focused on building the careers of hit artists including Shawn Mendes, The Killers, Bon Jovi, Fall Out Boy, Demi Lovato and newcomer Lauren Spencer Smith. Hession joins after four years heading up the publicity department of Glassnote Records where she worked across the label’s storied roster including Phoenix, CHVRCHES, Jade Bird and Silvana Estrada’s Grammy-winning debut album campaign. Prior to Glassnote, she garnered industry experience at Live Nation and SONGS Music Publishing followed by joining the crisis management team at Hiltzik Strategies. In their new roles, Timure and Hession will work across the full Arista roster including multi-platinum marquee artists such as Mรฅneskin, JP Saxe, Tai Verdes, and rising talent such as Lola Brooke and Paul Russell….
